Who We Are
Seeing a need for effective focus on the widow and orphans, we formed our nonprofit organization to provide sensible solutions, build a supportive community, and provide resources that will help widows and orphans to continue to thrive in their next phase of life.
The Fomanda Support Center is a Common Initiative Group (C.I.G) and a Nonprofit Organization set up as a Wellness Center in response to the needs of the most vulnerable members of our communities such as Widows, Orphans, the Disabled and Mentally Challenged. A Health & Wellness Center
This CIG was formed to provide sensible solutions, build a supportive community, and provide resources that will help this vulnerable and underprivileged population to thrive in today’s world. Because widowhood is an often-overlooked group in our society, our hope is to galvanize resources to assist, inform, inspire and bring a positive change that will transform lives.
This CIG will serve as a Community Outreach Center providing resources that will promote the Health and Well-being of the underprivileged. Our goal is to assist each participant to live the most productive, meaningful and fulfilling life that they can achieve, despite having experienced one of the most devastating life events of losing a spouse or parent.

Fomanda Support Center for Widows & Orphans was founded in 2021. What started as one family’s desire to care for orphans in Nsongwa Mile 90 community turned into an ever-growing Common Initiative Group and a Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to changing the lives of suffering people in other surrounding communities.
At the heart of Fomanda is a team composed of diverse group of people who have been brought together by the desire to Transform Lives. We feel privileged to unite hurting people within a local Community.
Monthly Fomanda Project supporters are essential to taking care of all of the children’s most important needs, not just one child’s. As a monthly supporter, you walk alongside a specific Fomanda Project to make sure the caregivers can provide for all of the children. With your support, they will never go hungry or thirsty. You can clothe them and make sure they have resources for school.
The Fomanda Support Center is a group of compassionate people like you who have one common goal: to care for suffering orphans and widows every day, every month and every year. As part of this group, your monthly support means nutritious meals, clean water, a safe haven, and more that an orphaned child or outcast widow can rely on.
